Hey Sarah. This is Erskine(Tatiana’s friend that was with were at the competition). Thanks for the story. This year is the piano competition and I have been way to nervous to send everything in. I’ve arranged all of the music,recorded,mixed,mastered,bio,resume,picture, and now I’m stuck. I keep looking over everything wondering if it’s good enough to even have them listen to it. I’ve listened back to the music about 100 times per song for any mistakes and phrasing and time… Think I should just go for it?

I heard/saw you at the Hyde Park Jazz Fest fall 2010 and thought you were adorable. didn’t get your name but dug you. Then I just stumbled upon this website and oh, you have a name. Well good for you and goody-goody for your great musical chops. Is that your picture in the window at Columbia’s music building. I just put 2+2 together. I work in the Theatre building so I pass it daily. I will try to make it Andy’s some Tuesday night on my way home from Tuesday night class @ church for the next 10 weeks. Just want to say “You go, girl.” I don’t know what happened with the Monk Competition but either way you are all that and a bag of chips. Keep singing and swinging.

I am so happy for you I can’t stand it!!! Just to be in the semi-finals is amazing! You just BE YOU!!! That’s all you need.
